Dr. James Whitebone DVM

Practice Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Whitebone has always had a passion for helping animals. In 2003, he graduated from Purdue University with his DVM and began fulfilling his dream of working in a career that he loves. After vet school, he worked at a large practice outside of Chicago for several years and then moved back to New England to be closer to his family. He has enjoyed working throughout New Hampshire the past decade and is excited to implement his experience and values into his own practice. Dr. Whitebone resides in southern NH with his wife Alyssa, son Landon, dogs Antoine & Madeline, and cats Penelope & Nola.

Alyssa Whitebone

Lead Client Service Representative

Alyssa is our lead client service representative. She acquired a love for animals at a very young age when her family adopted two small dogs. Alyssa has a bachelor’s in English from the University of New Hampshire and her master’s in Elementary Education from Southern New Hampshire University. During her schooling, she worked for six years as a client service representative in New Hampshire. Alyssa has a passion for working with animals, children, and adults. She believes in a friendly, positive work environment that allows clients and fellow staff members to feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. Alyssa lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband, son, two dogs, and two cats.


Client Services Representative

Lisa has over 20 years experience in the veterinary and animal control fields. She has a love of rescuing all animals, from birds to horses. Along with her years of experience and hands on training, Lisa is licensed for wild life rehabilitation, a certified member of the disaster animal response team, and is certified as an animal behavior consultant and dog trainer. Lisa also has a passion for working and interacting with people. She has worked along side Dr. Whitebone for the past 10 years as both a veterinary technician and a client service representative. Lisa believes in the importance of helping to maintain a happy, healthy and safe environment for both animals and people. Lisa lives in Hudson, New Hampshire with her Husband Al, three dogs, two cats, and parrot Shamrock. In her free time, she enjoys being in nature, horseback riding, reading and helping others.


Lead Veterinary Technician

Mel has had the dream of working with animals her whole life. She attended the University of New Hampshire where she received a degree in Animal Science. She is currently working towards her certification and hopes to get her CVT within the next 2 years. Mel has been a Veterinary Technician for 4 years but has also worked as a groomer and doggy daycare attendant in the past. She has a strong desire to save animals and keep pets healthy! At home she has a variety of pets that includes two rabbits, a bearded dragon, and her dog Bruschi.


Veterinary Technician

Crystal has been a veterinarian technician for almost 8 years. She has been interested in animals since she was a child and would take care of neighborhood animals and her own. Crystal is currently in school to become a certified veterinary technician. She is passionate about her job and enjoys coming to work with animals everyday. She lives at home with her husband and two dogs Jasper and Rhino.


Certified Veterinary Technician

Growing up with animals in her home, Ariel's passion for animals started when she was just a little girl. Ariel is originally from Washington state, but because her husband is active duty in the army, they lived in both Texas and Colorado before moving to New Hampshire in 2017. Ariel attended school in Colorado, where she received her degree in veterinary technology and became a certified veterinary technician. Ariel currently lives with her husband, two Great Danes and Jack Russell Terrier. She has a strong passion for her job and could not imagine doing anything else.
